Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2025

URL Unraveler ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the URL Unraveler iOS application and website at urlunraveler.com.

Information We Process

When you resolve a URL, the URL is transmitted to our servers to perform redirect-chain resolution. We do not:

Your recent resolve history is stored only on your device using standard iOS storage (UserDefaults). It never leaves your device unless you explicitly copy or share a URL yourself.

In-App Purchases

Purchase transactions for the "Unlimited Resolves" upgrade are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information. Purchase status is verified locally via StoreKit on your device.

Analytics & Crash Reporting

We do not integrate any third-party analytics SDKs or crash-reporting services (such as Firebase, Mixpanel, or Sentry). We may receive anonymised, aggregate crash logs from Apple through App Store Connect, which Apple controls under their own privacy policy.

Advertising

URL Unraveler contains no advertisements and does not use advertising identifiers.

Safari Extension

The Safari extension activates only when you explicitly invoke it from the share sheet. It reads only the URL of the page or link you share with it. It does not access your browsing history, cookies, or any other page content.

Children's Privacy

URL Unraveler is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
